Classes START Monday, 19 August. Please come about 5-10 minutes earlier than the time you chose to study. You will see a list of names and the room you need to go to. Morning Classes FULL

The morning sessions are full!  Thank you for making that happen!  Please come and MAKE YOUR DEPOSIT.

We still have lots of space in the afternoon classes.  We have about one week to go before the course starts.  Share with friends.  They do not have to be a student at RULE but they must be a university student. 

Can I change my time?

Several of you have already asked to change your time.  You originally signed for 8:15AM but now want to change to 10:00AM class.  The reason for the change is not important to us.  What is important is that we are not given more work to do with changing time request.  It is a simple request but imagine 50 requests with only 2 staff.  It is a challenge.

Therefore, for any request to change there will be a 2000 riels fee.  Please note not all requests for changes will be granted.  Our goal is to have about the same number of students for each class.

Make a Deposit Now

We are quite excited that students have been signing up and sharing with one another about this good opportunity to practice English.

Our 8:15AM class time is ALMOST FULL!  We will take several more and then close that time.  The other three times are still available.  Please sign up now, so you can get the time you want.

DEPOSIT!  You can now make a deposit to secure your seat.  "Secure" means to have a seat in the classroom, even if the class is closed or full.  So please come by the English Office and give a deposit of $2.50.  Remember, you will get the deposit back when you successfully complete the week course.

We are getting lots of students signed up for the Free English Week.  Here is what it looks like so far.  This is great but we really need 80 students for each hour.  For example, we need 80 students at 10:00AM - 11:30AM.  

In each time, we have four classes going on at the same time.  Therefore, we would like to have about 20 students per class.

Please NOTE!!!  Once a time frame is at about 80 students, we will not take more students for that time.  So at the 8:15AM - 9:45AM time, we will only take about 26 more students.  So if your time is limited, sign up now while seats are available in all times.

Free English Week August 2013

Last year we offered a free week of English taught by new American and Canadian teachers.  Many students enjoyed the opportunity to hear native English speakers and practice their English with them and their classmates.  I am happy to once again offer this opportunity!  The English week will be 19-24 August.

Similar to last year, we will have four times; two times in the morning and two times in the afternoon.  You may only attend one of the time for the entire week.  When you register, please choose a time that works best for you.  Once you choose your time, we encourage you not to change it.  If you do, there will be a fee to do so.

This year, English will continue to be free but will require a deposit when you complete your application.  The deposit is to help encourage you to come to class and stay for the entire week.  We had over 400 students signed up last year but only about 200 students showed up during the English Week.  When you complete the week training, you will receive a certificate and your deposit back.  If you miss any class, you will not receive the deposit back.  The deposit will be 10000 riels or $2.50.  It's not much but we hope you will be encouraged to register, attend and complete the English week.
